About Dating Coaching

John* felt his hand hovering over the computer mouse…

… nervous to click for a consultation.

“Who actually hires a dating coach? I mean, my love life could be better, but maybe I don’t really need a professional.”

His thoughts went back and forth, one part talking himself out of clicking and going back to watching TV, while the other part of his brain telling him this was meant for him, and the time to change his life was now.

Gregory* was ready for a change.

After his divorce, he spent his days swiping left and right, frustrated that most of the women weren’t responding to his messages.

On the off chance he did strike up a conversation, it often fizzled out after a week or two.

“Why couldn’t dating be easy like it was 15 years ago?”

“Why couldn’t people just meet without a computer screen involved?”

About Me

My mission in life is to help people find love.

The kind of love that holds your hand when you receive a devastating phone call.

The kind of love that cheers for you when you get that promotion at work.

The kind of love that makes you feel grateful and so fulfilled you could practically burst.

Nothing in this life is more important than love.

I’m a licensed couples therapist and have helped people in their relationships for the past 12 years.

I received my B.A. in psychology and a minor in gender studies at Indiana University and my M.S. in family therapy from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

These days, I live in Charleston, South Carolina, with my husband, three stepchildren, son, and rescue German Shepard named Good Girl (she really is the goodest!)

Get to know me more…

My favorite food is tacos (I could eat them every day.)

I was first chair in the middle school band for trombone.

My favorite place on earth is Dublin, Ireland, where I studied abroad in college.

I’ve known that I would become a therapist since elementary school.

When I was 17, my friend dared me to stay with silent monks at a monastery for three days straight. The experience ended up becoming my college admissions essay.

Make dating fun again.
